Omasta - Honda Del Sol (Single)

Polish jazz outfit Omasta have announced their second album, Hits Different, arriving on 16 October via Astigmatic Records, alongside the groove laden lead single Honda Del Sol. To mark the release, the Kraków five piece will also return to London's Jazz Cafe for a special live show later that month.

Since emerging in 2024 with a celebrated tribute to J Dilla, Omasta have quickly become one of Europe's most exciting contemporary jazz acts. Blending jazz with hip hop influences and street culture, their sound is driven by thick rhythms, deep basslines and expressive piano, trumpet, saxophone and flute. Following a critically acclaimed debut album in 2025, the band have continued to build an impressive reputation through standout performances at the London Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott's, Gent Jazz Festival and beyond, while collaborations with the likes of Madlib, Tenderlonious, Aquiles Navarro and Leszek Żądło have further showcased their adventurous approach. With Hits Different, Omasta look set to build on that momentum with another bold and inventive collection.
