Blu DeTiger continues her funk fuelled new era with the release of "Shock!", a groove driven single that blends disco, soul, funk and early 2000s R&B into an irresistible dancefloor anthem. Produced by The Outfit, the duo of Robin Hannibal and Dan Edinberg, the track arrives alongside a surreal music video inspired by DeTiger's love of competitive table tennis, placing the New York artist inside a vibrant blue ping pong arena.

Following June's "Whisper", "Shock!" offers another taste of DeTiger's evolving sound, built around infectious basslines and playful energy. Speaking about the single, she describes it as one of the first songs written for this new chapter, helping define the project's funky, disco soaked direction while bringing together her passion for music and table tennis.

The release arrives ahead of a packed run of live dates, including a bass and DJ set at London's Jazz Café on 8 August, alongside appearances at Pacha Ibiza and New York's All Things Go festival. Widely regarded as one of modern music's most exciting bass players, Blu DeTiger has built an impressive career spanning sold out headline tours, collaborations with artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Bleachers and Chromeo, and performances at Coachella, Lollapalooza and Governors Ball. With "Shock!" setting the tone, 2026 is shaping up to be another standout year for the New York multi hyphenate.
