Songer - SOMETHING I SAID (Single)

With his new album WHAT IF I SAY NO? arriving on 24 July, Songer is keeping the momentum going with the release of his latest single, "SOMETHING I SAID."

Built around nostalgic production from Blueboy & Dash, the track pairs Songer's trademark sharp lyricism with an infectious summer ready sound. It's the final preview of the 15-track album, which also features fellow UK artist KiLLOWEN and promises to explore themes of nostalgia, resilience and the realities of modern life.

To celebrate both the upcoming album and the FIFA 2026 World Cup, Songer recently hosted a special fan event featuring DJ sets, a live cypher, competitions, an exclusive album playback and a first look at the new merchandise, alongside appearances from Cam300G, Mani DM, Daneo, Arka, and Blueboy & Dash.

The release caps off another standout year for the Reading rapper. Recent singles have earned strong support across BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra, while streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Deezer have all featured his latest releases on major editorial playlists.

Songer will also hit the road later this year for his biggest UK and Ireland headline tour to date, with almost 14,000 tickets already sold, further cementing his place as one of the UK's most exciting rap artists.
