Michael Gray - You & Me (Album)

There’s something reassuring about a new release from Michael Gray. He’s never chased trends, instead refining his blend of disco, boogie and soulful house into something consistently fresh. His third studio album, You & Me, arrives via Sultra Records and stands as one of his most complete works to date.
Following 2024’s Optimism, this record pushes his sound further. There is a clear sense of creative growth, with a few unexpected turns that add depth without losing his signature warmth.
Collaboration plays a big role. Bran Mazz is a standout across multiple tracks, bringing a fresh edge, particularly on a slick rework of Maxwell’s “Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder)” and cuts like “I Like The Way.” Mike Dunn joins the title track, while Tania Foster adds heat to the Latin leaning “Shake.”
Elsewhere, Kelli Sae and Errol Reid shine on “Detonate,” lifted by live drums from Derrick McKenzie. Phebe Edwards, Dyanna Fearon and Audrey Martells all deliver strong vocal moments, adding richness across the album.
Club energy comes through on “Universe,” while “Gravity” featuring Sian Lee has already been making waves on Traxsource.
For longtime fans, this feels like a natural progression. Polished, soulful and made with real intent, You & Me lands May 29, 2026.
