South London rapper Catch has announced her debut mixtape The Elephant in The Room, arriving on 26 June, alongside the release of new single "Life's Good, Life's Great" featuring Figs0.

Built on an infectious hook and triumphant energy, the track finds Catch reflecting on her journey from hardship and survival to growth, ambition and success. Sampling Willie Hutch's classic "I Chose You" from The Macksoundtrack, the single reworks the 1973 soul staple through a modern trap lens, pairing reflective lyricism with uplifting production.

The release offers another glimpse into The Elephant in The Room, a 13 track project rooted in Catch's South London upbringing. Across the mixtape, she blends sharp storytelling, emotional honesty and versatile flows, exploring themes of resilience, pressure and personal evolution.

"Life really is good and great," says Catch. "Like my manager Jess always says: 'If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.'"

The announcement follows a standout period for the Lewisham artist. After earning a MOBO nomination for Best Hip Hop Act, Catch recently appeared on GRM Daily's Invite Only series and featured on Marnz Malone's album Yaqeen. Her growing reputation has been bolstered by support from UK rap heavyweights including Giggs, D-Block Europe and Dave.

Widely regarded as one of the UK's most exciting emerging rap talents, Catch continues to build momentum through her sharp lyricism, distinctive storytelling and unfiltered honesty. With The Elephant in The Room set to land this summer, 2026 looks poised to be a defining year for the South London artist.
