Dua Saleh - Of Earth & Wires (Album)
LA based Sudanese American artist Dua Saleh has released their striking new album Of Earth & Wires via Ghostly International, a warm yet frenetic body of work that explores ideas of home, humanity and renewal through a future facing blend of indie, R&B and electronic pop.
Threaded with flashes of Sudanese folk, UK dance and baile funk, the album feels both deeply personal and sonically expansive, balancing instinctive melodic warmth with moments of distortion and dislocation.
Alongside the album, Saleh has also shared a new video for standout track “Firestorm,” a tender coastal love song written in the aftermath of the Los Angeles fires. Featuring the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles and production from Justin Vernon alongside Billy Lemos, Ethan Hansen and Jeremy Nutzman, the track captures a fleeting sense of beauty and intimacy born from collective trauma.
Speaking on the song, Saleh described “Firestorm” as a reflection on the contrast between LA’s obsession with glamour and the devastation communities faced as fires swept through the city in early 2025.
Dua Saleh will take Of Earth & Wires on tour this summer with dates across Europe, including London, Berlin and Paris, before heading across North America in September.
