Erica-Cody returns with her new single, last man standing, a sharp, self aware anthem blending pop confidence with R&B attitude and garage inspired production. Already one of Ireland’s most exciting rising stars, she continues to show why she is firmly one to watch.

The track captures a familiar modern dating dilemma, holding onto potential instead of accepting reality. Written during a session with Ollie Marland and Welshy, Erica-Cody turns the highs and lows of a situationship into something bold, honest and relatable.

She says the song came from realising someone was not “the one”, just the last one standing at the time. That honesty runs throughout the release, balancing humour, vulnerability and empowerment.

last man standing also offers a glimpse into a wider upcoming project centred around being a “lover girl in the fuckboy era”, while highlighting Erica-Cody’s gift for infectious hooks and sharp lyricism.
