Atmosphere - Phere & Loathing: The Unamerican European Tour 2026

Atmosphere Announce European Return with ‘Phere & Loathing: The Unamerican Tour’.

After three years away, Atmosphere are heading back across the Atlantic.

This April and May, the Minneapolis duo reunite with longtime collaborators Sage Francis and ZooDeVille for Phere & Loathing: The Unamerican Tour 2026, a 12 date run marking their first European and UK shows since 2023. The tour opens in Antwerp before weaving through Paris, London, and a three city stretch across Germany, with stops in Copenhagen, Warsaw, and Amsterdam, and closing out with first time performances in Athens and Zagreb.

London gets its moment on April 25 at Electric Brixton, one of the tour’s key UK dates.

Fresh off their 30th anniversary Winter Carnival run in the US, Atmosphere arrive in Europe still riding the momentum of their 2025 album Jestures. Recent visuals, including “Zorro” with ZooDeVille, continue to show the duo leaning into playful, offbeat storytelling, a hallmark that’s defined Slug and Ant’s longevity in independent hip hop.

Slug summed up the return in typically understated fashion: an eagerness to reconnect, perform, and soak up the small details, “coffee and chocolate and bread.”

For Sage Francis, the tour carries added weight. A central figure in early 2000s underground rap, this marks his first time touring Europe alongside Atmosphere, and a rare stretch of time on the road. Meanwhile, ZooDeVille builds on a strong 2025 European run, bringing new material and a multidisciplinary edge shaped by both music and film.

Across three decades, Atmosphere have carved out a space that resists trend cycles, grounded instead in consistency, emotional clarity, and a deep respect for hip hop’s foundations. This tour feels less like a return and more like a continuation of that ethos: steady, personal, and built to last.
