23 year old British Filipino singer, songwriter and producer Troy Javelona returns with his second single, DARLING, an alternative R&B track built on warm keys, crisp percussion and fluid vocal lines. Soulful yet understated, the song unfolds with quiet confidence and highlights the subtle power and versatility of his voice.

Written, recorded and fully produced in his bedroom studio, DARLING captures a deeply personal moment for the South London artist. Created entirely at home, the track reflects a period of emotional processing, with warm textures and stripped back production placing the focus on his vocal delivery and the honesty at its core.

“DARLING came from a vulnerable day in my bedroom studio while I was still healing from my last relationship,” Troy says. “Writing it became part of how I was processing everything. I was feeling fragile and soft, so I leaned into warm, intimate production to mirror that space.”

The accompanying visual, directed by Ray Fiasco (Pa Salieu, Knucks, Dizzee Rascal, Ms Banks), takes a minimal, atmospheric approach, set against the hazy backdrop of an abandoned airport and reflecting the track’s warmth and emotional intimacy.
