KiLLOWEN - addicted 2 nostalgia (Mixtape)

KiLLOWEN drops new mixtape addicted 2 nostalgia.

London based Garage Rap artist KiLLOWEN releases his new mixtape addicted 2 nostalgia, arriving ahead of a 14 date UK and EU tour. Sitting between UK Garage and alternative rap, the project captures the reflections and emotional clarity of the past 18 months, reinforcing KiLLOWEN’s position as one of the most relatable storytellers of mid-twenties life in Britain.

The mixtape blends euphoric, dancefloor ready production with conversational lyricism. Tracks move between high energy moments and late night introspection, from the Calvin Harris sampling ‘Naughties’ to more reflective cuts like ‘tell me where your mind goes’ and ‘closer’. Lead single ‘motion sickness’, featuring longtime collaborator Songer, leans into nostalgic crossover appeal, while ‘sexy’ with Kwengface highlights KiLLOWEN’s knack for crafting highly replayable tracks. Throughout the project, influences from UK acts such as So Solid Crew and The Streets are reinterpreted through a modern lens.

Born in Hayes and raised in Buckinghamshire, KiLLOWEN grew up between contrasting environments that continue to shape his songwriting. With Irish roots in Cork and early memories of rapping over instrumentals at seven years old, music quickly became instinctive. By his early twenties he had developed into a multi instrumentalist, producer and songwriter, building a sound rooted in nostalgia, storytelling and genre fluid production.

Since breaking through with viral single ‘Sober’ and debut project Pub Therapy, KiLLOWEN has steadily built a dedicated following. His 2025 EP six missed calls strengthened that connection, with fan favourite ‘pick your poison’ surpassing 30 million streams. Alongside sold out UK shows and festival appearances at Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds, he has also expanded his cultural presence through collaborations with brands including The North Face, Oakley and END.

With a UK and EU tour and a run of festival appearances ahead, addicted 2 nostalgia marks a significant moment in KiLLOWEN’s journey, documenting a year of growth while setting the tone for what comes next.
