Multidisciplinary singer-songwriter Amana Melome' breathes new life into her acclaimed album Recalibration with RECALIBRATED: THE REMIXES, a vibrant collection celebrating personal growth, freedom and self-discovery.

Blending soulful house, jazz-house, funk, disco and dub reggae, the project brings together an international line-up of producers to reimagine her original material. From Joel Holmes and Cee ElAssaad's uplifting deep-house interpretation of “SO DONE!” to Somos Animales' dub-reggae take on “Con C.Alma” and Opolopo's funk-driven reworking of “Recalibration”, each track offers a fresh perspective while preserving the emotion behind the music.

Speaking on the release, Amana explains: “I wanted to lean into the affirmations of strength and inner magic in these songs, while inviting those who connect with this vibration to join me, jump up, dance and shine as loud as possible with love.”

Drawing on her Euro-Caribbean-American heritage and rich jazz lineage, which includes her grandfather Jimmy Woode, legendary bassist for Duke Ellington, Amana continues to bridge traditional soul and jazz with contemporary sounds. The collection also revisits “Space Age Mama Jama”, the first song she recorded, bringing her musical journey full circle.

More than simply a remix album, RECALIBRATED: THE REMIXES is a feelgood celebration of embracing change, finding confidence and reconnecting with your authentic self.
