Daykoda – Blue Devil (Album)

Daykoda is the forward thinking musical project of Milan based producer and musician Andrea Gamba, exploring the intersections of electronic music, experimental jazz, and leftfield hip hop. Inspired by visionary labels including Ninja Tune and Brainfeeder and often compared to Flying Lotus, his work is both intellectually exploratory and emotionally resonant.

Previous releases have earned support from tastemakers including Mary Anne Hobbs and Tom Ravenscroft on BBC 6 Music, alongside support from artists including Lefto, Laurent Garnier and Nubya Garcia. Following the release of ‘UNO’ in 2023, he has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in Europe’s new borderless musical landscape.

He has toured throughout Europe, performing at key jazz festivals including Balkan Jazz in Tirana, Jazz Is Dead in Turin, the Jazz & Blues Festival in Edinburgh, Jazz in the Park in Cluj, Romania, alongside a standout performance at the Torino Jazz Festival in 2024. A major milestone of 2025 was his invitation to perform at Time in Jazz Festival (Sardinia), curated by Paolo Fresu, one of Italy's leading jazz figures.

His new album ‘Blue Devil’ is set for release on the 6th November via Beat Machine Records and features collaborations with Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Theon Cross, Ze in the clouds and Daedelus, reinforcing the album’s openness and international reach.
