OURAA - Mr Brown Eyes (Single)

South East London artist OURAA continues her move into the dance world with new single ‘Mr Brown Eyes’, a playful house cut capturing the wonderfully delusional feeling of falling hard for someone who doesn’t quite know they’re yours yet.

Following recent singles ‘BABA’, ‘3am’ and ‘In The Kitchen’, OURAA keeps things light and infectious, pairing her personality filled songwriting with an upbeat house backdrop. Created alongside Ishmatic Beats before being finished with live bass from Benjamin Adjei and additional mixing from Cardamo, the track finds OURAA embracing the fun of romanticising a crush and simply letting your imagination run wild.

“It’s sweet, playful and a little obsessive, living in that space between a crush and a full-blown delusion,” she explains. “Sometimes it’s fun to live in your head a little… Embrace the delulu!”

‘Mr Brown Eyes’ marks another step in OURAA’s evolving pop and dance direction, adding to a catalogue that has already seen her collaborate with Nines and provide vocals for the likes of Ella Eyre, The 1975, P!NK, Demi Lovato and Little Simz, alongside appearances at Glastonbury and The Great Escape.

‘Mr Brown Eyes’ is out now via AWAL.
