Wesley Joseph has announced his long awaited debut album Forever Ends Someday, a fully realised body of work bringing together three years of writing, producing and world building. Alongside the announcement, he has shared a powerful new single, “Peace Of Mind”, featuring Detroit rap iconoclast Danny Brown, complete with a striking self directed video that expands the album’s cinematic universe.
Born in Walsall and now based in London, Joseph continues to cement his reputation as one of the UK’s most ambitious multi disciplinary artists. “Peace Of Mind” is urgent and volatile, with rumbling bass, warped electronics and a razor sharp vocal performance from Joseph colliding with Danny Brown’s frenetic verse. Visually, the video shifts between stark realism and strobe lit chaos, reinforcing Joseph’s instinctive link between music and filmmaking.
Speaking on the track, Joseph describes it as finding clarity within chaos, a self prescribed lift written from an empowered but unsettled place. The collaboration with Brown, a longtime hero, feels both personal and fearless, mirroring the song’s restless energy.
Forever Ends Someday is Joseph’s most vulnerable work to date. Across 13 tracks, he traces a personal timeline from childhood memories and teenage turbulence to the present moment, blurring the line between realism and the surreal. Drawing from soul and R&B roots, the presence of rap and alternative electronic discoveries, the album resists genre in favour of an emotional through line that feels raw, cinematic and forward thinking.
Crafted between London, Walsall, Los Angeles and Switzerland, the album features collaborators including Nicolas Jaar, A.K. Paul, Al Shux and Romil Hemnani, alongside guest appearances from Jorja Smith and Danny Brown. It follows the critically acclaimed ULTRAMARINE and GLOW, projects that established Joseph as a singular voice in UK music.
Wesley Joseph returns to the stage with a sold out intimate headline show at Hideout on 21 January, with more live dates to follow, marking the next chapter as Forever Ends Someday begins to unfold.
