The Scythe - Lit Effect (Official Video)

Denzel Curry is back with a new collective vision. He has officially announced The Scythe, a crew led by Curry in his Big Ultra mode alongside Ferg, Bktherula, TiaCorine, and Key Nyata. Their debut full length project, Strictly 4 The Scythe, arrives March 6 via Loma Vista Recordings and marks a bold new chapter rooted in unity, energy, and Southern rap tradition.

The announcement comes with the first single, “Lit Effect,” a BNYX produced, rock leaning anthem featuring Bktherula and LAZER DIM 700 that sets the tone for what is to come. Drawing from the raw camaraderie of Curry’s Raider Klan beginnings while pushing his futuristic take on Memphis, Houston, and Miami sounds, The Scythe is about collective power over individual spotlight. As Curry puts it, “The Scythe is a family and a group. We still have our respective solo careers but when we come together it is The Scythe.” The crew will also discuss the release in a live interview on Apple Music 1’s The Ebro Show, coinciding with the single release.
