Built on soft lo fi breakbeats and open hearted piano, the track unfolds like a late night confession, leaving space for every word to land. Whitlam’s voice feels close and conversational, while Tamzene’s warmth drifts through the song like a second inner monologue, offering balance and intimacy in equal measure.

The accompanying video keeps things beautifully simple. Shot across central London, it follows Whitlam and Tamzene walking, talking and laughing side by side, a visual reflection of the song’s core idea of real connection found in listening without armour.

To mark the release, Whitlam is heading out for a run of special in store performances across the UK, including dates at Rough Trade London, Resident Brighton, Vinyl Whistle, Rough Trade Liverpool, and Assai, offering fans a rare chance to experience his words up close.
