WHO SHOT SCOTT - PROBLEMS IN MY HEAD (Official Video)
Auckland based artist and producer WHO SHOT SCOTT opens 2026 with his most vulnerable release to date, ‘PROBLEMS IN MY HEAD’. A haunting, melancholic single built on wonky synths, hard hitting drums and a raw, unfiltered vocal, the track explores the beginnings of his relationship with anxiety and therapy, tracing emotions that have shaped both his life and his art.
The release follows his late 2025 return with ‘FRENCH FEVER’ and ‘LFTBU’, both of which premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music via Craig Charles and received strong rotation across the station. On ‘PROBLEMS IN MY HEAD’, WHO SHOT SCOTT reflects on experiencing his first panic attack at just 16, the isolation that followed, and the long journey toward accepting anxiety as something to live with rather than fight against, a force that also fuels his creativity.
The accompanying video, directed by longtime collaborator Connor Pritchard, places him inside an unsettling therapy session. While the room remains cold and still, the visuals peel back the surface to reveal the restless internal chaos beneath, mirroring the song’s emotional core.
‘PROBLEMS IN MY HEAD’ marks the start of a defining new chapter for WHO SHOT SCOTT, one rooted in honesty, emotional depth and sonic evolution. With more releases lined up and a newly announced UK tour on the horizon, 2026 is shaping up to be his most ambitious and revealing year yet.
