G Herbo Returns With New Single ‘Reason’.

Chicago rap heavyweight G Herbo is back with Reason – the first single from his upcoming album Lil Herb, which will be released via Island Records UK/Republic Records.

The track, produced by platinum hitmaker Don Cannon, sees Herbo at his most commanding, declaring his influence with lines like: “Everybody got a bag and I’m the reason in my section.” The accompanying video, directed by LVTRKevin, takes viewers from luxury cars through the streets of Chicago before bringing it home to 79th & Essex – a nod to his roots and the community that raised him.

Herbo’s latest drop builds on the success of Went Legit, which recently went Gold, marking yet another milestone in a career that’s seen him grow from local drill pioneer to one of hip-hop’s most enduring voices.
