Bricknasty ft: F3miii - i hope you’re ready (Single)
Bricknasty Unleash New Single “i hope you’re ready” Ahead of Black’s Law.
Dublin five-piece Bricknasty have dropped another taste of their upcoming mixtape Black’s Law with new single “i hope you’re ready” featuring F3miii. It’s a blistering cut that fuses groove-driven energy with raw, emotional urgency – a hallmark of the band’s restless spirit.
The track follows the jagged chaos of “go get that blade” and the stark trad-folk of “is é a locht a laghad”, showing once again Bricknasty’s refusal to stay in one lane. Fatboy’s vocals hit with instinctive intensity, balancing contradiction – clarity and chaos, despair and redemption – while drawing from his roots in Ballymun.
Due out on 29 October, Black’s Law is shaping up to be Bricknasty’s boldest project yet. Written on the road in makeshift studios and B&Bs along the Irish border, it captures the volatile chemistry between Fatboy and producer/multi-instrumentalist Cillian McCauley. Expect a politically charged, sonically unpredictable record that blends Ireland’s past with a defiant vision of the future.
This latest release follows a huge summer for the group, including their Glastonbury debut – where they were tipped by Notion as ones to watch – and support slots for the likes of Coldplay, Loyle Carner, Nas, Ezra Collective, and André 3000. With more headline dates across Europe on the way, Bricknasty are proving themselves one of Ireland’s most vital and unpredictable live acts.
