LUUKHANYO Returns With New Single Venture.

South African rapper LUUKHANYO is back with his latest single Venture, a powerful track produced by SYRE that celebrates the resilience of Black communities worldwide.

Drawing on his experiences growing up as a Black teenager in post-apartheid South Africa, LUUKHANYO delivers sharp, heartfelt lyricism that connects across borders. The song is both personal and universal – a reminder to find strength and beauty in unity. As he puts it: “couldn’t wash this Black with bleach.”

LUUKHANYO explains that his aim is to inspire honesty and vulnerability in others: “There is so much healing to be done in the world, and the first part of treating a wound is acknowledging that it’s there. Together we can bridge the gaps and move forward with empathy.”

Known for his smooth fusion of rap, soul and funk, LUUKHANYO has become a key figure in South Africa’s creative scene, recognised for his introspective lyricism and magnetic live presence with his band The Hii ROLLERS. Following the release of Open Casket and a European tour last year, he has now signed a distribution deal with London label WUGD, with a full-length project on the horizon.
