Back in 1989, Ten City burst onto the scene with their landmark debut Foundation, delivering timeless house classics like Devotion and That’s the Way Love Is. More than three decades later, the Chicago collective are still pushing things forward.

Led by the unmistakable falsetto of Byron Stingily, Ten City have teamed up with acclaimed producer Emmaculate for a brand-new album, The Next Generation. Across 13 tracks, the project blends the soulful heart of house music with fresh, modern production – staying true to the roots while embracing what’s new.

The record brings together a vibrant line-up of vocalists, including Mon’Aerie, DRAMA, Ric Wilson and OVEOUS, alongside contributions from producers such as Paris Cesvette and Gershon Jackson. It’s a celebration of soulful house in its purest form – heartfelt lyrics, uplifting vocals and lush, dancefloor-ready grooves.

For Stingily, who has topped US charts both solo and with Ten City, and Emmaculate, a Grammy-nominated producer known for his razor-sharp sound, this album feels like a passing of the torch while keeping the original flame burning.
