Ghostface Killah - Rap Kingpin (Single)

Ghostface Killah has announced his forthcoming new album, Supreme Clientele 2.  Out 22nd August on Mass Appeal Records, Supreme Clientele 2 is the mythic, long-rumoured sequel to the New York rapper’s undisputed hip-hop masterpiece, Supreme Clientele, released back in 2000.  

“Supreme Clientele was a frame of mind and era in time.  You could never duplicate that feeling, but you can tap back in”, Ghostface declares.  “We dug in the files from years ago and pulled together a Clientele that is Supreme!  Get ready, Supreme Clientele 2 is now.” 

Supreme Clientele 2 features guest appearances from Nas, Raekwon, Method Man, GZA, Redman, Conway The Machine, Styles P, M.O.P. and more.  The project is the latest instalment in Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It… series of albums by hip-hop trailblazers, following on from Slick Rick’s Victory and Raekwon’s The Emperor’s New Clothes, and preceding new LPs from Nas & DJ Premier, Mobb Deep, Big L and De La Soul.  

Alongside the announcement, Ghostface has shared lead single, Rap Kingpin, which encapsulates the rapper’s wildly creative, stream of consciousness style and flips both Eric B & Rakim’s My Melody and his own Mighty Healthy from Supreme Clientele.
