Izza Gara Returns With Empowering New Single “Favour”.

Swedish Grammy-nominated artist Izza Gara is back with her euphoric new single “Favour”, a genre-blending track pulling from 00’s electro, R&B, and pop nostalgia. The release is the first taste of her upcoming EP Superbia Hardcore—a project fully written and produced by Gara herself.

Known for her bold approach to sound and visuals, Izza uses “Favour” to flip stereotypes on their head. Confronting the reductive labels often pushed onto women in the industry, she leans into satire with lines that play on femininity and expectation, while delivering a powerful message of agency and self-definition. “Being objectified hurts,” Izza explains, “but turning that experience on its head with satire was actually fun. For me, it’s about taking control of the narrative.”

Born in Gothenburg with Turkish/Swedish roots, Izza grew up on MTV and the early 2000s dance scene—a foundation that now fuels her movement-driven performances and playful, stripped-back production style. Since her breakout EP YOUNG in 2023, she’s collaborated with Jerry Folk, Figtape, and Moritz, and gained recognition across Europe, culminating in a Swedish Grammy nomination and a Norwegian Spellemann win.
