FloFilz - Yoinokuchi 宵の口 (Single)
'Yoinokuchi 宵の口' is the fourth single from FloFilz' upcoming album Hagaki.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, FloFilz shares: "Yoinokuchi 宵の口 means 'early evening' or 'nightfall' in Japanese. It’s a time of day that always feels quite unique to me in the streets of Tokyo. There’s a certain calmness to it, especially when exploring hidden areas. It’s this subtle shift between day and night that I tried to translate into sound: warm textures, gentle rhythms, and a sense of quiet movement."
Recorded in both Berlin and Tokyo, FloFilz invited fellow musicians, beatmakers, and singers such as Takuya Kuroda, Nao Yoshioka, Toshiki Soejima, Budamunk, and Matt Wilde to join him on the fourth instalment of his travel-inspired album series.
Hagaki will be released on Gatefold LP featuring a 20-page photo book, available on classic black and limited edition orange vinyl. In addition, fans and collectors can look forward to a special 28-page Riso-printed photo zine by long-time collaborator Robert Winter, documenting the visual narrative of the album’s creation and inspirations.
