South London rapper and producer Jords has unveiled Mixtape J, a ten-track project released via TLD Records. This mixtape showcases his refined lyrical prowess and compelling storytelling, delving into themes of love, resilience, healing, and authenticity.

The mixtape opens with “Snake Skin,” featuring Jords' stream-of-consciousness bars over a choral instrumental, setting a cinematic tone. “Reparations” follows with a gospel-tinged backdrop and an uplifting hook: “It’s a beautiful day to get paid!” “Fuji” brings together Kojey Radical and UK rap/grime veteran Bashy, delivering a dynamic posse cut with intricate flows. The title track, “Mixtape J,” presents a militant focus, challenging societal expectations, while “Fallen Soldiers,” featuring Marger and Jordy, offers sharp, no-nonsense verses.

Jords also explores his versatility with tracks like the romantic “Golden Brown,” the playful “More,” and the introspective “Turn Another Page.” Previously released single “The Real Survive,” featuring RV, Oxi, and Sachellys, emphasises authenticity and loyalty amidst life's challenges .
