KAHUKX ft: Kirky - Darkest Days (Single)

Bridging international borders, KAHUKX continues his collaborative series with UK artists including LeoStayTrill, BackRoad Gee, and RV; this time enlisting rap riser Kirky for their Trap-infused release “Darkest Days”. Kirky, an up-and-coming artist from Stamford Hill, North London has previously collaborated with UK powerhouse’s WeWantWraiths, Clavish, and Abra Cadabra, earning him a rightful spot as an artist to watch. Merging his signature sound with KAHUKX’s reputable fiery flows and razor sharp bars, “Darkest Days”blends raw emotion with sharp lyricism, using a moody trap beat that pulls you in from the first raw sample. Kirky’s melodic hook lingers in your head, while KAHUKX's smooth flows and meticulous bars keep the energy flowing—turning raw emotion into something anyone can listen to. Clocking in at just over two minutes long, KAHUKX reiterates his adaptation to any given sound. Seamlessly weaving two cultures together, his forthcoming EP ‘SYD TO LDN’ magnifies the level of synergy from two cultures on either side of the world.

When asked about “Darkest Days” KAHUKX explained, "Darkest Days was another song from my London trip which came about last minute. Me and the team were in the studio until 4am when we got the call to link up with Kirky. We travelled to their studio and as soon as we got there, both of our teams connected and we started going through beats to find the perfect one. I knew Kirky liked the trap type beats, so already I knew this was going to be a challenge but I also knew I had what it took.  Once Kirky came up with his catchy hook, it took me about 10 minutes to write the verse and it ended up being one of my favourite verses of the trip."
