Odeal - NPR: Tiny Desk Concert

Afro R&B breakout Odeal has made a striking debut on NPR’s iconic Tiny Desk Concert series, delivering a warm, deeply personal performance that highlights why he’s one of the UK’s most exciting rising voices. Performing at NPR’s Washington, D.C. headquarters with a full live band, the 26 year old showcased his signature blend of soulful storytelling and global influence.

Opening the set with a touching moment dedicated to his mother, who watched via FaceTime, Odeal set an intimate tone that carried through an eight song journey spanning fan favourites and recent releases, including Free Me, Blame U, Miami and Coffee. The performance traced his travels, growth and creative evolution, drawing together experiences from across his recent projects.

The Tiny Desk appearance follows the release of his latest EP The Fall That Saved Us and his North American tour The Shows That Saved Me, marking a pivotal period in Odeal’s ascent. After a transformative year that saw him win two MOBO Awards, earn a BET nomination and be named Billboard’s African Rookie of the Year, Odeal continues to build momentum with the announcement of his international headline tour across the UK, Europe and Australia.

British Nigerian and raised across the UK, Nigeria, Spain and Germany, Odeal’s multicultural upbringing underpins a sound that has resonated with millions worldwide, cementing his place at the forefront of the UK Afro R&B scene.
