Shungu releases album & Butterfly video ahead of Europe & UK dates.

Belgian artist and producer Shungu has today released his new album, Faith In The Unknown.  The ambitious project is loaded with talent and features several peers from Shungu’s forward thinking creative community, including: Pink Siifu, Fly Anakin, Goya Gumbani, Fatima, Navy blue, Maxo, Liv.e, Chester Watson and Drea mcastmoe.

To mark the album’s release, Shungu has today dropped the official video for Butterfly featuring ZekeUltra - check it out below.

"ZEKEULTRA and I first connected musically three years ago, and everything we've made together since has led to the Babel Tower album he released recently,” Shungu says.  “But this track ‘Butterfly’ is actually the first one we ever made together.  He’s the kind of artist I can really explore with.  I send him all kinds of instrumentals, even the less conventional ones, and I can never predict which one he’ll choose.  Making music with him feels like creating free form rap, no rules, just pure expression."

Shungu will also be embarking on a series of live dates; beginning in London at Ormside, he’ll be playing shows across Berlin, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam throughout November. Cop tickets for the London show here.
