Neru Thee Fourth Fugee Returns with 4th Chamber – A Cosmic Evolution in Sound and Spirit.

Baltimore visionary Neru Thee Fourth Fugee steps into a new era with her long-awaited sophomore album 4th Chamber, presented by Wu-Tang Clan legend Killah Priest. Out 7 November, the project is more than music, it is a multidisciplinary movement merging sound, visual art, performance, and community action, rooted in themes of self-mastery, esoteric knowledge, and cosmic identity.

Taking inspiration from Wu-Tang’s classic 36 Chambers, Neru reimagines the idea of “chambers” as levels of wisdom unlocked through life’s journey. The result is an Afrofuturist expansion of the Wu legacy, filtered through Baltimore grit and celestial imagination.

Musically, 4th Chamber is a time capsule and a prophecy. Crafted over nearly a decade, the album bridges hip hop, neo soul, trip hop, funk, and experimental electronica, creating a hypnotic world of spiritual alignment and introspection. It features guest appearances from Killah Priest, BbyMutha, Snypa B, Sekou Tha MaddMann, and Crip Jesus, and is executively produced by Metaphor The Great of The Boondocks fame.

Each track functions as its own “chamber”, a lesson, ritual, or reflection. From the expansive opener Entro: Thee Council to the radiant closer Perfect Place, Neru invites listeners to explore ancestral wisdom, discipline, and healing through rhythm and revelation.

Beyond the music, 4th Chamber extends into real world community action. Neru is marking the release with a public mural project in Baltimore, created alongside local youth artists and unveiled at a free album event. A mini documentary with Imani Network will follow, exploring her balance of artistry, entrepreneurship, and civic leadership. This December, she embarks on a nationwide tour, pairing performances with creative workshops, artist showcases, and marketplace opportunities for independent talent.

Since emerging with The Almanac and the double EP Enlightenment Era, Neru Thee Fourth Fugee has carved a space that fuses the mystical with the political, the intimate with the galactic. Having shared stages with The Roots, JPEGMAFIA, Princess Nokia, and Danny Brown, she continues to blend visionary sound with grassroots impact through her AstroKnot Collective and community platform Thee Portal.

With 4th Chamber, Neru Thee Fourth Fugee crystallises a decade of evolution into a single offering – one that uplifts, challenges, and expands. It is a ritual of self-knowledge, a love letter to Baltimore, and a blueprint for future worlds.
