Roisin Quinn releases double A side single with “Unknowns / Keep Me Where I Can See The Light”. A yin and yang offering, these juxtaposing tracks showcase Roisin’s genre fluid approach to songwriting and quest for balance and authenticity.

“Unknowns” fuses heavy hip hop beats n bass with hanting Irish trad folk samples to create a hard hitting short track that acts as a battle cry to like minded folk to stick together in these divisive times. Artists, immigrants, working classes, imposter syndrome sufferers, this one is for you. “Keep Me Where I Can See The Light” is a powerful, meditative track that’s full of vocal harmony, soulful piano, atmospheric beats and ambient layers.

Lyrically the focus here is on holding on to gratitude, hope and light in the darkness. Since winning Wordplay Magazine’s NOVEMBARS at the end of 2024 with her rap about Privilige in the Arts, highlights from 2025 include collaborations with DJ Semtex, Toddla T, airplay on Capital Xtra and 6Music and sync features on Channel 4 and ITV’s Love Island. This release comes ahead of Roisin’s album Beauty From Ruins, which is scheduled for release in early 2026.
