From the heart of the Midwest, Minneapolis based artist Julixn continues to defy expectations with the release of his brand new single, “Blurred Lines”. A true sonic shapeshifter, his work blends diverse influences into something that feels both unpredictable and deeply intentional.

“‘Blurred Lines’ is for all things blurry, unclear and undefined”, Julixn explains. The single captures that sentiment perfectly, weaving together lush guitars, pulsing drums and layers of foley and textured sound design to create an atmosphere that feels cinematic and introspective.

The song’s genesis reflects Julixn’s DIY approach and creative resourcefulness. “I found this unique yet still somehow familiar instrumental from a favourite producer of mine from a few years ago,” he shares. “Right away it seemed to be a blend of genres, which helped inspire the rest of the track and ultimately the title, ‘Blurred Lines’. My studio setup is very barebones, I do everything myself (except producing most of the time), so it mainly consists of my MacBook, an interface, mic, headphones and a notepad in my room. My car speakers are the audio test when I get a new mix, and a handful of longtime friends are my testing audience. Everything I need to make a good song and nothing I don’t.”
