Afro Nation Portugal 2024

The world’s biggest Afrobeats and Amapiano festival, Afro Nation Portugal, adds more in-demand acts to an already stellar lineup, all bound for the beach on 26-28th June 2024.

Joining the previously announced global superstar headliners Nicki Minaj, Rema and Asake, popular Congolese singer-songwriter Fally Ipupa is set to bring his irresistible Francophone sounds and undeniable charm to the stacked mainstage bill. Shallipopi, Nigeria's hottest new star and the voice behind hot track ‘Elon Musk’ and ‘Cast’ ft. Odumodublvck, is also now confirmed, following massive sold-out shows in London earlier in this month.

Joining the Piano People stage today as part of a new partnership with Jägermeister is DBN Gogo, a true powerhouse with hits like "Funk 55" and "Bells", Amapiano riser Kmat ready to show the world her versatility and technical skill on the decks, as well as the enigmatic Skyla Tylaa who returns again after an electrifying set in 2023.  With these additions joining all the biggest artists from South Africa’s dance explosion, from Uncle Waffles and Major League DJz to Focalistic and Tyler ICU, Afro Nation Portugal 2024 is gearing up to be another vibrant celebration of diverse talents.

Standing as the only festival of its kind, reliably delivering an unforgettable cultural celebration of dance, fashion, food and music on the Algarve’s Blue Flag beaches, this experience is consistently touted as not to be missed as thousands flock back year on year.

Afro Nation Portugal takes place 26-28th June 2024 at Praia Da Rocha Beach, Portimao. Remaining Golden, VIP and General Admission Tickets are available via afronation.com.

Afro Nation stands as the world's largest celebration of African music and culture. Since launching in 2019, Afro Nation has played a part in global stars like Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido reaching headline status on major mainstream festival line-ups around the world.  Afro Nation transcends borders, uniting the diaspora in a global celebration of dance, food, fashion, music and enjoyment.

More than just a festival, Afro Nation’s influence reaches far and wide, with successful editions launched not only in Europe, but also in America, the Caribbean and Africa, with more expansions on the horizon. The formation of the Official UK Afrobeats Chart with the OCC and BBC 1Xtra in 2020 and the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart in 2022 are further evidence of the team’s dedication to supporting African talent on a global stage.

In 2023, Afro Nation Portugal marked its first sell-out year, as the festival saw over 40,000 attendees travel in from 140 countries.
