American rapper Movie Monroe returns to the hip-hop/rap music scene with the awaited album ‘A Light Through the Clouds’. Debuting in 2021 with the single 'A1', Movie Monroe has perfected a distinctive and recognisable sound, evident in new album 'A Light Through the Clouds’.

The 12-track album 'A Light Through the Clouds' explores themes of light and dark. It delves into the heightened emotions experienced during life, parenthood and all its facets, juxtaposed with darker emotional aspects of life, relationships, and loss of his father found in tracks 'Dancing With My Agony' and ‘A Light Through the Clouds’.

The third track ‘We Share the Same Eyes’ tells Monroe’s journey into fatherhood through lullaby-esque guitar melodies harmonised with ethereal vocals and heartfelt lyrics such as 'I see myself inside you, I know you'll shine too' and 'You're dreaming just like I do, belief will drive you.’

Monroe is an American rapper, producer, singer, songwriter and engineer. Originally born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Movie Monroe currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
