Twivee (feat. Oniss & Clattah) - Living Reckless (Single)

‘Living Reckless’ is a new track produced by rapper-producer Twivee, featuring Oniss and Clattah. The release of ‘Living Reckless’ follows the trio’s appearance on BBC Introducing Live Lounge on the 30th June.

‘Living Reckless’ sees Twivee deliver an eclectic style of hip-hop production, fusing together ambient and electronic sounds with hip-hop percussion. Twivee creates an atmosphere within the beat that induces reflection, often dropping out the drums and emphasising the vocals and the ambience. The trio all play into the loose theme of ‘living reckless’ in each of their verses, however they showcase unique personalities; Twivee dissects the life he and those close to him are living from a wider perspective, acknowledging the potential pitfalls and obstacles one might encounter. Oniss takes a laid-back approach to living recklessly, making references to “rolling up this sour grass” and “living in the moment”, while Clattah interjects some reflective bars about repressing past emotions, and yet coming out unscathed and living with less concern. Overall, the track sees Twivee’s production complement Oniss and Clattah, and showcases his potential to experiment further with more ambient and spacious sounds.
