Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist i.am.afiya releases her second EP “20 Something Blues” an exploration of life in your 20’s, discussing depression, break-ups and dating apps.

Based in South London, i.am.afiya bends genres, taking inspiration from a range of artists, such as King Krule, Lianna La Havas and Hiatus Kaiyote. On top of this, as with her first EP titled “Songs From Above”, her latest works were recorded, produced and mixed completely by herself, helping to create her own personal brand of unique sound. “20 Something Blues” sees her expanding her sonic library and experimenting with production and sampling for the first time, making for a collection of tracks that will get both returning listeners and new fans excited.

Since the release of her 2020 EP, i.am.afiya has gone on to feature on Wordplay Magazine's 'Wordplay Sessions', BBC Introducing London, BBC Introducing Norfolk & Suffolk as well as her most listened track to 'One Again' being featured on Spotify's editorial playlist, 'Our Generation'. This release also lead to her gigging across London in 2021 as well as landing a spot at Wild Paths Festival in Norwich.
