NOCTURNAL noc·tur·nal | \ näk-ˈtər-nᵊl \ 1: of, relating to, or occurring in the night a nocturnal journey.

Nocturnal is Misha's debut album. The eight song LP features numerous collaborators, including instrumentalists and vocalists like Oddisee, Ayelle, and Katori Walker. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Misha (and released by NY indie label Sundae Sauuce), this is a producer project blending alternative R&B, hip-hop, vapor soul, disco, dance, and bedroom pop. A melting pot of jams.

Moonlit grooves, energized moves Nocturnal acts as the follow-up to Misha's 2021 EP Gusto (also released through Sundae Sauuce), which included multiple artists from all over the world. Nocturnal is no exception: featuring over a dozen international collaborators, songs were recorded in Helsinki, Brighton, Paris, Stockholm, New York, Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Hyattsville.

Preferring night over day, Misha says he was never an early bird. "I love slow mornings," he says, "but I feel more energetic in the evenings. That’s when I feel inspired to create." Focusing on outer space and midnight dance floor tendencies, the concept of Nocturnal is simple: an album of songs best enjoyed at night. "I tried to capture different aspects and vibes of night," Misha explains, "like dreaming, driving, making love, self-reflection, and easing up your mind." An album dedicated to the night owls, Nocturnal is a smooth and glimmering debut LP, one to accompany you during those memorable late night hours.
