Lex - On My Way (Single)

Nottingham-based artist Lex has released a single titled ‘On My Way’, produced by SFM 35.8. Lex has been previously active; under his previous moniker Lexus, he released his 2012 album Home Truths, which made noise in the local area, and therefore ‘On My Way’ functions as a comeback single for Lex.

SFM 35.8 and Lex both complement and contrast each other extremely well on this track; the production is laid back, jazzy and soulful, while Lex’s delivery is direct and emphatic. In his verses, Lex details his upbringing, his unending loyalty to those close to him, and his proximity to his competitors.
