Still Shadey - How To kill A Caterpillar (EP)
The multi- faceted UK Rapper and Song-writer Still Shadey takes us on a journey of healing, self-discovery and purpose through his latest creation ‘How to kill a Caterpillar’.
His 6th studio project updates the listener on Shadey's personal growth, re-exploring past traumas, and providing greater context on the musician's life and art. Through children’s storybook-style narration, the LP unpacks the contrast between his Christian upbringing and violence he witnessed growing up in Croydon. Opening up with the epic 'Caterpillar Intro', Shadey touches on counselling and overcoming failure, perfectly encapsulating the album’s themes through poignant bars and a relaxed beat.
"Every season has a caterpillar and a butterfly” Shadey explains. “Change is painful. But nothing is more painful than being stuck somewhere you don't belong.”
