Netherlands-based producer, mixer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Camille Antoni returns with his latest self-produced, debut hip-hop single, ‘L.U.N.A.’ featuring vocals from friend, rapper and long-time collaborator Pete Philly.
Best known for his session musician work, unique genre-bending productions and his involvement and founding of the indie-pop duo, Bungalow, Camille Antoni is a seasoned and highly experienced musician who is now ready to re-emerge and re-introduce himself to the world as a must-hear artist and beatmaker, working and creating on his own terms.
Camille Antoni presents ‘L.U.N.A.’ as a demonstration of both him and Pete Philly at their most authentic, unadulterated and raw. Created in under 24 hours, the record came about without any real planning or foresight from either artist but rather an organic meeting of the minds.
Driven by a deep frustration with humanity and our seeming inability to be mindful of the planet and each other, Camille took to his home studio to vent, resulting in a disjointed and uneasy hip-hop beat that accurately reflected his creative mood at the time. Dark and alluring yet bouncy and refreshing, ‘L.U.N.A.’ captures the very essence of Pete Philly and Camille Antoni.
