Pharoahe Monch: DAMAGE

Pharoahe Monch is one of those rappers that over time has simply become part of the furniture within Hip-Hop, he so effortlessly blends into the background for a while until you take a step back and realise you’ve been staring at the mantle piece for some years.

Damage is the first glimpse off up and coming release “Post-Dramatic stress disorder” which stands as his 3rd instalment  from his “Bullet” trilogy serving as a predecessor to “Organized Konfusion’s “Stray Bullet”, way back in 1994 &  Monch’s “When the Gun Draws” from 2007. Monch on this sounds unwearied, pumped and in his uttermost prime, throwing around fearless barks with his characteristic crystal clear usage of multi-syllables, nabbing LL Cool J’s “oooh listen to the way i slay your crew” and injecting it with his own fire over a ice cold Lee Stone production.

Post-Dramatic Stress Disorder hasn’t seen a official release date yet, but from this track alone im certain its gonna be something special
