The super heavy 3rd EP from Lincoln based trio Heavy Links.
Heavy Links consists of Mc’s Habitat and El Tel the Dopeness alongside DJ Donnie Propa. The Essence is 6 tracks deep and seriously dope, the group have a lot of love for golden era hiphop which is apparent in their music. The beats are all tight and handled by El Tel the Dopeness and the EP features guest verses from Norwich lyricist DPF and a man all of our readers should be familiar with, Efeks from the Boombap Professionals ‘Prose’. On top of that, the bonus track ‘Rap Ambassadors’ features guest spots from UK heavyweights Sonnyjim, Cappo and longtime veteran Chrome, of Deftex.
The EP is out on limited edition vinyl which is really nice to see and there are only 100 copies printed so be sure to get in there quick, priced at just £6 which, as you will all agree, is a bloody bargain I tell ya! Also keep an eye out for Donnie Propas official mixtapes with Cappo, Sonnyjim, the legendary Supa T (Sundragon) and aload of others.
