Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn: The Gentlemen’s Club

Brighton based Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn’s collaborative effort, “The Gentlemen’s Club” is probably best described as a brief showpiece for the respective individuals talents. An eclectic listen, the EP offers 3 full length tracks alongside a few short instrumental pieces. 17-year old Concept Of Thought member Stew’s laid back, broken down flows perfectly compliment Gunn’s equally mellow productions; epitomised on the smooth, jazz-like piano loops of “I Might”.

The way the EP switches musical directions from one track to the next makes it a little harder to appreciate the project as a whole but individually, it is clear that we’re dealing with gifted artists and the stop-start nature of it definitely leaves you in want of a more. A perfect teaser, so to speak. It’s a free download so draw your own conclusions people…
