Datkid from Bristol collective Split Prophets dropped his title track off forthcoming album “Home By 8”.
For some unbeknown reason I don’t think I have actually posted anything about this highly talented bunch. They have been ripping heads into a frenzy for a while now and have been a crew I have followed for a while too. Once you hear Datkid unmercifully wreak havoc on this joint your gonna know why.
Datkid is not only one of the dopest lyricist’s in circulation at the moment, the mans a prolific scenario weaver, combining mad rhymes with a heavyweight flow, expressing blatant disregard for authority and anyone trying to squash our culture down with their repressive ways. Seriously Datkid is a fucking monster on the mic this track has been on repeat since I first heard it. Watch this space for the split prophets feature in wordplay
