Jack Flash & Wizard: Progression

Jack flash has been the name on a lot of people tongues of recent times, whether it be for previous album and mix tape releases or his debut Don’t flop rap battle triumph. He’s a Name that keeps cropping up for all the right reasons.

Mr Flash alongside the merlin of production, Wizard (yeah I reached for that pun) recently dropped their collaboration album “Progression”.

This album has evidently had extended amounts of time, dedication and careful consideration poured into it by both parties. “Progression” is an apt title, from Flash’s previous albums in which he stuck to the more favored and recognized style of Uk hip hop, nobody can deny he is an extremely gifted wordsmith. This album for me though shows intent to break out onto the mainstream road, which is definitely not an easy feat to achieve and in its own right a huge accomplishment. Bearing that in mind the Album displays mountainous degrees of talent, from Jack flashes barrages of cyclone like deliverance of dense and intricate lyricism to Wizards attention to detail within production. “Law of the Jungle” stood out for me due to the varied levels of pinpoint production accuracy, mish-mash of vocal snippets and kick snare claps. “ Tomorrow” shows us just at what level Jack Flashes depth within the genre can reach, both in Flow and lyrical content. The album can be taken in several forms, none of which should be judged badly, Jack Flash is a talented rapper and has already proven he can handle a mic with diverse capabilities. This album just further pushes any boundaries that can be achievable with the correct level of dedication and musical savvy. This album wont appeal to everyone due to its ties to the more commercial market, but shouldn’t put people off for this reason, within the album multiple examples of how a rapper should contrive and deliver lyrics over quality beats. This album is going to make Jack Flash a household name and mad respect to him and Wizard for Emerging with a solid album. Boasting colabs with SonnyJim, Genesis Elijah, Stig of the Dump and Lunar C (Who is killing it at the moment) makes this a Definite Go Get a copy Status and Support a pair of talented Dudes:
